2026 Peace Country Stock Dog Arena Trials

What a weekend! Our PC Stock Dog Arena Trials 2026 were a great time with over 25 competitors coming from both Alberta & BC to compete for fun, prizes, payouts and points. This two day event was sanctioned by the BCSDA (sheep), ASDA (sheep) & the CCDA (cattle) and consisted of a predominantly enthusiastic Novice group. Two runs held each day were scored aggregately for the placing results. Congratulations to all competitors, volunteers, PCSDA members and dogs who did a wonderful job both in the arena and out!

Judging both sheep and cattle day was Corey Perry. For a relatively new association and club of handlers Corey was the perfect person to guide us and give encouragement to us all as handlers. We ask that he select for each day a team who he thought were doing a fantastic job working the courses, and stood out to him as a handler/dog pair for a Judges Choice Award of a handler basket.

2025 Lakota Stock Dog Arena Trials

Our 2025 Lakota Stock Dog Trial was a huge success with over 20 handlers completing 60 runs. We had many spectators in attendance. The trial lasted two days which included days for both each sheep and cattle. We are grateful for the support of our community, volunteers, sponsors and handlers!
