THANK YOU TO ALL OUR SPONSORS, VOLUNTEERS & PARTICIPANTS !
The Peace Country Stock Dog Association hosted three events for the 2025/2026 Winter Series. Our series goal was to bring together a welcoming community of local dog handlers who wished to improve their understanding and ability to work with their stock dogs. These dates offered members a chance to practice on stock in an indoor arena with the option of coaching and mentorship, for our more experienced handlers trials were hosted in the afternoon where they had the opportunity to test their dogs skills in different classes of arena courses.
We want to send out a heartfelt thank you to everyone who was involved in the 2025/2026 Winter Series:
Generous sponsors of the PCSDA have invested time and money into a cause they believe is of value to our community, for the new and continued support we thank you.
It takes time, perseverance and grit to pull of these dates. Many amazing volunteers are needed to provide mentorship, set up, stock management and scheduling. These events and the association exists purely due to your effort and continued support.
We are thrilled to see so many faces appearing at our events and getting involved. Thank you to all our participants who attended the winter series in support of our goals at the association.
Local 4H were in attendance to provide concession and delicious food for attendees. We also had a wonderful time showing 4H members what a stock dog can do and interacting with our local coach mentor Dennis Gellings and 2026 World Trial Canadian Youth member Jack Crook. This was a highlight of our season; was so fun to see the kids excited about stock dogs and cheering us on from the stands!
