The BC Peace River Region spans a north eastern section of British Columbia and consists of towns such as Fort St John, Dawson Creek and Chetwynd. The Peace Country Stock Dog association was created in 2024 by its founding members who reside in both Fort St John, Dawson Creek and their surrounding communities.
After traveling to attend trials, clinics and events together the group began to work on the idea of creating a non-profit organization that would work to bring more stock dog events to our own communities. We believe that the stock dog is an integral and vital part of farming and ranching operations in the Peace. We value the time we get to work on our skills as handlers and feel it is important to offer learning and growth opportunities to our local stock dog community.
Join us for our annual sanctioned trial, improve your skills at offered clinics or pop in to one of our schedule practice dates!
